Essential RV List

RV Supplies for Any Camping Packing List

Camping is always a fun adventure. You can meet new friends, bring along old ones, and even gather the family together. You can see just about anything, go just about anywhere, and with an RV, you can bring your home away from home everywhere you go. But what should you bring with you? What’s on your camping packing list? What do you need to have every time you hit the open road? What are some things that truly make your RV your home away from home? Every RV should have certain things, and here are some.

Basic, But Essential, RV Supplies

Every RV must have a tool kit on board. This is vital for a smooth and safe trip. The tools you carry should be ones that are versatile, easy to pack away, and accessible. Have a wide variety of screwdrivers, an adjustable wrench, a hammer, electrical tape, duct tape, various nuts, bolts, screws, and anything else you think you’ll need. Be prepared, but don’t bring the whole tool shed. Space is limited, and as you RV more, you’ll come to know exactly what you use and need in your tool kit, so reevaluate it before each trip. Be sure to always carry jumper cable, or even a battery charger. Road flares, a jack, and a spare tire should always be on board, as well.

The next vital kit on your camping packing list that you’ll need in your RV is a First Aid Kit. Accidents happen, from a cut finger to a burned hand to an extremely nasty bug bite, and you need to be prepared. Check your kit before every trip to make sure you have plenty of the basics: Band-Aids, gauze, disinfectant, bug spray, sun screen, aloe vera, ice packs, etc. Also, always have a working fire extinguisher on board incase anything decides to catch fire.

Bring along some spares, such as extra light bulbs, batteries, extension cords, fluids for the RV, such as oil and transmission fluid, tubes, flashlights and even a back up rear view mirror. Things break, especially with daily wear and tear, so it’s always good to have a few extra pieces packed away.

Finally, no RV is truly set to roll without a few games on board. RV supplies put aside, lets face it, long hours on the road, cold nights around the campfire, and warm sunny days at the picnic table can be pleasantly passed with some good games. Some classics to include are Monopoly, backgammon, Scrabble, Parcheesi, and most any other board game that you love to play. A couple decks of cards are an absolute must. Horseshoes, bowling pins and ball, a football, baseballs, bats and gloves, and many other outdoor games are always a hit, as well.

When checking off your camping packing list, make sure these vital RV supplies are included. And remember, RV camping is a great way to see the world in your home away from home.
